I don’t enjoy mosquitos. Unfortunately, they haven’t gotten the memo and are quite enjoying me. At the time of writing, I have about 50 bites and I’m hoping bug spray will prevent me having more by the time I finish posting.
In contrast, I very much enjoy anti-itch creams.
For the concerned mothers out there, yes, I do have plenty of bug spray with me. The problem was that it took me a little while to realize I was getting many of my bites during the daylight hours since I wasn’t putting on bug spray until near evening. I’m accustomed to mosquitos being prevalent in the early morning and early evening. Apparently the mosquitos on Utila also missed that memo.
